News from the Palace – October 2025

Good evening, everyone!

This year’s car driving season seems to be coming to an end faster than I care for, but Deb and I have had a great time regardless. The cars have been running perfectly, but the TR3 wasn’t fast enough to outrun a downpour last month. It was faster getting home with the top down, drenched with rain, than stop and fight with the erector set Triumph specified for top bows. Besides, a little rain never hurt anyone, even when your wipers have one speed – “casually English”.

We’ve got two events for October; the Castle in the Clouds Show in Moultonborough, in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, and the Wool Arts Tour through the beautiful Monadnock Region in the southwest part of the state. Both events are fun, and just the drives to each are worth starting your car for. I need another pair of Alpaca wool socks for this winter, so I know the Wool Arts Tour is a definite for me.

In other news, I will be taking over duties as Council Minister for the Southern Council starting with the November meeting. I would like to thank Dave Rogers for his hard work and dedication to the club – that’s what sets British Cars of New Hampshire apart from the rest.

As always, thanks for being part of British Cars of New Hampshire!

Mike
