BCNH Northern Council Visits the Autopac Gallery Museum

BCNH Northern Council EventThe weather may have been less than ideal, but it certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the British Cars of NH (BCNH) Northern Council members! On June 18, 2026, approximately 16 members gathered for a special private tour of the incredible Autopac Gallery Museum, making for a memorable day filled with automotive history, friendship, and shared passion.

Our sincere thanks go to Jack and Kathy Eastwood, longtime friends of the Boissoneau family, who graciously arranged this exclusive opportunity for BCNH members. Their generosity allowed our group to experience one of New England’s most remarkable automotive collections.

The museum showcases the lifelong passion of its founder, Ray Boissoneau, who sadly passed away in October 2025. Ray’s love for motorsports began early, organizing soapbox derby and bicycle races before eventually becoming deeply involved in racing. Over the years, he carefully built an extraordinary collection of vintage race cars, classic street cars, antique automobiles, racing memorabilia, and historical artifacts. Today, the Autopac Gallery stands as a lasting tribute to his dedication to preserving New England’s rich racing heritage.

BCNH Northern Council EventAs we wandered through the impressive displays, it was hard not to admire every detail—and it’s safe to say a few members may have left behind a little drool while admiring the incredible collection! After exploring the museum, everyone gathered to enjoy brown-bag lunches while catching up with fellow members, one of the best parts of every British Cars of NH event.

Outside, the weather steadily worsened, bringing severe thunderstorms, flood warnings, and even reports of tornado touchdowns across parts of New Hampshire. With safety in mind, the group decided it was the perfect time to begin the journey home. Special recognition goes to one dedicated member who made the trip from the Nashua area in his beautiful 1959 MGA—and fortunately managed to outrun the worst of the rain on the drive home.

The BCNH Northern Council is already planning its next adventure, with a July driving event currently in the works. Watch your email for upcoming details, and be sure to check the British Cars of NH Events Calendar for the latest information on future drives, gatherings, and club activities.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the next British Cars of NH event!
