News from the Palace – Feb. 2025
Good evening, everybody!
February 2nd is Groundhog Day, and the Northeast will be holding its breath to see if a rodent predicts the remaining length of Winter. If I don’t like his answer, I’ll consult one of the 2 groundhogs living under the barn for a second opinion. This one we named Joey. He’s a bit bigger now and was gracious enough not to decimate our garden last summer. Joey’s a good tenant that doesn’t make a mess, keeps to himself, and doesn’t complain.
Howard Kalet has scheduled another shop tour for this month at Competition Motors in Portsmouth. It’s great to have so many things to do in the dead of Winter, so please try to attend one. It’ll make the season seem shorter and anyone that isn’t in the South can appreciate that. I started the Spitfire just to hear it run, and there were no mice scurrying looking for a new home, so that’s a plus.
As always, thanks for being part of British Cars of New Hampshire!
