Cruising Up Mt. Kearsarge with British Cars of New Hampshire

They say if you don’t like the weather in New England, just wait five minutes. That was certainly true on our recent drive from Crackerbox Palace to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge, organized by British Cars of New Hampshire (BCNH). Despite a chilly breeze, occasional sprinkles, and a glimpse or two of sunshine, nothing could dampen the spirits of our convoy of classic British cars.

Departing early, we enjoyed the rare treat of traveling together up the scenic auto road through Rollins State Park. At the summit, the entire group had the parking area to ourselves—at least for a few peaceful minutes—making it a perfect moment for photos and camaraderie. The misty mountain view and crisp air only added to the magic of the experience.

Among the stars of the day was none other than Yoshi, the official Crackerbox Palace guard dog, who turned heads in his custom British Cars of NH dog jacket. Embroidered with the BCNH logo, these canine couture items are not just for show—they’ll be available in a variety of sizes during the Silent Auction at the upcoming Show of Dreams, taking place July 26th. If you’re a car enthusiast, pet lover, or just someone who enjoys great community events, this is one auction item you won’t want to miss.

Whether you’re a longtime member of British Cars of New Hampshire or simply appreciate a scenic drive with a view, our Mt. Kearsarge cruise was a reminder of the joy these beautiful vehicles—and this wonderful community—can bring.

Mark your calendars for the Show of Dreams on July 26th, and don’t forget to check out the BCNH silent auction for your chance to take home a bit of British flair—for you or your four-legged co-pilot!
