Sunshine, Scenery, and Smiles: BCNH Joint Council Drive
What happens when two dynamic councils of British Cars of New Hampshire join forces? You get an unforgettable day filled with beautiful classics, winding roads, and fantastic company! This BCNH joint drive meet-up—originally dreamed up last year by Dave Scott, alongside Karl and Kellie Braconier—was such a massive hit that it’s officially tracking to become a highly anticipated annual tradition.
The Journey: Henniker to Andover
Our day kicked off in Henniker, where the Northern and Monadnock groups merged into a stunning convoy of British engineering. From there, we took to the scenic backroads of the Granite State, treating onlookers to a rolling museum of vintage steel.
The destination? The Refinery restaurant in Andover, NH. But before we could even think about heading inside, the lower parking lot transformed into an impromptu mini car show. Hoods were popped, stories were swapped, and passing drivers couldn’t help but slow down and admire the view.
Good Food, Better Company
By Karl’s official count, we had 45 enthusiastic members turn out for the event. The Refinery looked after us beautifully, serving up fantastic food that was perfectly paired with even better conversation.
“It’s events like these that truly define BCNH. It’s not just about the cars we drive; it’s about the community we build.”
A massive thank you goes out to Dave, Karl, Kellie, and everyone from the Monadnock and Northern Councils who worked behind the scenes to bring us all together. Whether you were catching up with old friends or introducing yourself to a new face, the camaraderie was unmatched.
Missed out on this one? Don’t worry—keep an eye on the club calendar, shine up your British beauty, and we’ll see you at the next turn!
