News from the Palace – March 2026

Good afternoon, everyone!

It seems that this March, winter is still going to be here taunting us. It was great to enjoy a 50-degree day this weekend (2/27) but with all the snow still on the ground it’s hard to believe it will be gone in a month’s time for swap meet season starting in April.

Also ahead is the popular Blessing of The Fleet; after all, we all want a season of trouble-free driving thanks to divine intervention. It’s also fun wondering if the holy water sprinkled by the priest on the cars is going to sizzle. We’ve probably all had one of those. Mine was my very first car, a 1972 MGB.

I’d like to encourage all our new members to attend a Council meeting in your area and submit a story about yourselves and the car (or cars) you love to Dave Swartz, our newsletter editor. He’s always looking for new stuff, and what better way to get to know you?

SAVE THE DATE !

JULY 19

NH FOOD BANK / BCNH CARS AND COFFEE

The event will run between 9-12 at the NH Foodbank parking lot at 700 E Industrial Park Drive, Manchester, NH.

It’s all to benefit the NH Foodbank. Monetary or canned good donations directly to the Food Bank are highly encouraged.

The NHFB food truck will be available for food and refreshments.

It will be a year since Norma Karle’s passing – let’s have a great showing and have our other councils further away plan a drive over.

As always, thanks for your support and being part of British Cars of New Hampshire!
