SUMMARY:Tour to St Gaudens\, Cornish NH Rain date August 14th
DESCRIPTION:Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park preserves the home\, studio\, and grounds of\nAmerican sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1848-1907). A visit to the park can\ninclude a peaceful walk through the gardens\, a fun art activity with a ranger\, a tour\nthrough American history\, and much more. For more info\nhttps://www.nps.gov/saga/index.htm\nWe will depart from the parking lot of Brady’s Bar and Grill located at 225\nConcord St (Route 202) in Peterborough NH at 10:30 AM. The approximately 63\nmile drive will take us through wonderful back roads in western NH and will take\napproximately 1 ½ hours. Bring a picnic lunch and blanket to enjoy on the\ngrounds. No food service is available in the park. There are both shade trees\nand picnic tables available. After enjoying your lunch we will enjoy a tour by a\nmember of the NPS of the house and grounds around this historic National\nPark.\nThe fee to enter the park is $10 or free if you have a National Park Pass.\nIf more convenient for your travels meet up with the group around Noon time at\nthe park.\nPLEASE RSVP by Tues 7/11 so I can get a head count.
