October 13th Wool Arts Tour – 2019
The 2019 NH Wool Arts Tour will feature 29 Artisans and Craftsmen that focus their creative talents on the various uses of fibers – wool, Alpaca; rabbit; and/or linen. They will be distributed around four different farms between Hillsborough and Hancock.
The Farms on the “Tour” will be open to visitors on both Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend, from 10:00 to 4:00.
The organized BCNH Group will visit the Tour on Sunday to not conflict with the Monadnock Arts Tour on Saturday but individual Members are, of course, welcome to “take the Tour” on their own on either or both days.
For those BCNH Members that chose to travel with us as a group, we will meet at the Daniel’s Restaurant in Henniker when they open at 11:00 and leave there for the closest Farm (The Spinner Farm) at about noon. That will give us four hours to visit the four Farms.
We will then follow a back roads route from Daniel’s to:
1. The Spinner Farm – in Deering
2. The Glory Be Farm – in Bennington
3. The Spring Pond Farm – in Greenfield
4. The Brimstone Hollow Farm – in Hancock
You can learn more about each individual Farms – and the Artisans that will be at each farm – at www.woolartstournh.com/
Please e-mail Bob Mitchell at [email protected] if you plan to meet us at Daniel’s – I have to let them know how many to expect.
